The West County Swing Dance Club, St.

. . . Is a non-profit organization dedicated to
the preservation and promotion of Imperial
Swing Dancing serving the Metro, St. Louis,
Missouri area.  . . . Imperial Swing Dancing
was first developed at a local St. Louis
nightclub called 'Club Imperial' and has been
said to be a refined version of the
Jitterbug.  It evolved into a combination of
East Coast steps with West Coast swing
moves danced in the slot that includes wraps
and spins.

Admission $3.00 - Members & Sister Clubs, $5.00 - Non-members
Doors open: 6:00PM Lessons, 7:00 to 8:00PM, Dance 8:00PM to 10:30PM

Lessons are optional, taught every week & you don't need a partner or be a
member to participate. 4  levels of swing dance from Basic to Advanced level.

Doors open 6:00PM, Workshop included with admission  7:00 to 7:30PM,

WORKSHOPS:
Saturday Workshops on selected Saturday mornings. See MEMBERSHIP/
INSTRUCTORS page. Kirkwood Community Center, 10 am - 12 noon.  

Workshops are FREE to West County members,
Sister Clubs: $3.00,  Non-members: $5.00
